Jodie Rahman

Psychologist

I am a registered psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society.

I offer therapy to adults across Aotearoa New Zealand, with a particular interest in anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, self-esteem, trauma, stress, loss, and existential concerns.

I take an integrative, evidence-based approach, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).

My practice is strengths-based and person-centred, grounded in warmth, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity. I aim to create a safe, inclusive space where clients from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences can explore their challenges without judgement, embrace their identities, and build their resilience and personal growth.

I understand how heavy and isolating these experiences can feel, and how hard it can be to take the first step towards support. I’m committed to offering a space where you can feel heard and understood, and where we can gently work towards meaningful change together.
