A thoughtful space to slow down and understand what’s happening beneath the surface.

Sometimes life looks fine from the outside, yet internally things feel unsettled. You may be navigating stress, burnout, relationship challenges, perimenopause or a growing sense that something isn’t quite right. Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect and make sense of what you’re carrying.  Many of the people I work with are capable, thoughtful individuals who carry significant responsibility in their work or personal lives, yet find themselves feeling overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected.

I offer psychotherapy for adults who want to better understand themselves, their patterns and their relationships. My approach is psychodynamic and relational, meaning we explore the deeper experiences and ways of relating that shape how we think, feel and respond to the world. This work can bring clarity, emotional relief and meaningful change over time.

I have worked across many parts of New Zealand’s health and social services system, including addiction, kaupapa Māori and homelessness services, tertiary education and Te Whatu Ora (NZ Health). My roles have ranged from frontline clinical work to senior leadership positions, supporting individuals, whānau, teams and organisations facing complex mental health challenges, trauma, burnout and significant life transitions.

My style is calm, thoughtful and engaged.  I offer a reflective space where difficult experiences can be explored safely and honestly.

Sessions are available in Hamilton and online across New Zealand.
