Kia ora,

I’m Laura! A registered counsellor based in Wellington City, offering in-person sessions locally and online counselling across Aotearoa.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, overwhelm, life transitions, and more. I’m particularly passionate about working with women who over-function (those carrying high responsibility at work, at home, or both), or high-functioning anxiety.  However, I welcome anyone who feels stuck, stretched thin, or simply in need of a space to slow down and be heard.

Much of my work explores the patterns and roles inherited from family of origin; the spoken and unspoken rules about worth, responsibility, and what you owe others that can shape how you move through the world.

I support clients navigating:

• Workplace challenges

• Sex and sexuality

• Chronic illness

• Guilt/Shame

• Trauma

• Self-esteem/self-image

• Life changes 

My approach is collaborative and client-led, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Client-Centred Practice. Sessions are a space to slow down, reflect, and untangle at your pace.

I welcome adults of all genders and am committed to providing an inclusive, non-judgmental space.
