Counselling Services
I am a certified trauma, somatic, and trauma-informed relationship and sex therapist (registered to support ACC sensitive claims). I work with adolescents 16+, adults, couples, and families. I offer a compassionate, collaborative path toward safety, healing, and renewed connection with your Self and relationships.
Counselling Services
I support trauma recovery (including sexual abuse), relationship conflict, intimacy and sexual concerns, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, low self-worth, self-harm recovery, life transitions, and feeling stuck or disconnected. I understand many struggles not as personal failures, but as protective patterns shaped through difficult experiences and relationships. I integrate both “bottom up” body-based somatic therapy and “top down” cognitive and meaning-making approaches to support healing, emotional regulation, and lasting change. My therapeutic approach is deeply respectful of your strengths, wisdom, and lived experience, offering a safe and collaborative space where curiosity, compassion, connection, and restoration can gently emerge over time.
Counselling Approach
I blend compassion-focused narrative therapy with both top down (cognitive, meaning-making) and bottom up (body-led somatic and nervous-system regulation) approaches. Therapy with me is strength-based, relational, and person-centred: I help people understand protective patterns without shame while building practical body-based and relational tools that support safety, agency, emotional steadiness, resilience, intimacy, connection, growth, and flourishing within themselves and their relationships.
Background and Experience
I bring clinical training in trauma, attachment, intimacy, sexuality, safety, and relational connectedness. I integrate evidence-based therapies while offering a holistic, whole-person approach that recognises the interconnected experiences of mind, body, emotions, relationships, spirituality, and meaning. My own healing journey informs a grounded, compassionate, empathetic, and practical therapeutic stance.
