Unlock the Power of De-Escalation

Are you and your team confident in responding to challenging or aggressive behaviours?

Unlock the Power of De-Escalation: A Compassionate Approach to Conflict Resolution.

Powerful yet compassionate effective tools and techniques that can be used immediately in multiple settings.

Are you and your team confident in responding to challenging or aggressive behaviours?

Conflict and escalation are natural in human interactions —whether in teams, leadership, customer/client interactions, or high-stress environments. It is inevitable that at some point emotions will be triggered, past events tapped into, and our natural neural wiring to fight or flight will kick in. We are wired to focus on our safety.

The skill then is learning how to manage that effectively and compassionately when it does happen, with a focus on understanding, care, compassion while maintaining the mana and respect of all concerned.

Presented by Dr Suzanne Henwood, join us for a transformative four-hour online workshop where you will learn the art of de-escalation with compassion.

Bringing over 20 years of expertise in Integrated, Systemic and Embodied Coaching including: Polyvagal Informed Therapy; NLP (Suzanne is a Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming);  Multiple Intelligence Coaching (bwise); Emotional Culture Deck; breathwork; and mindfulness, and her extensive experience in Therapeutic Coaching (including Trauma Informed Coaching and Solution Focused Brief Therapy for severe stress and anxiety). This training draws on the research base around de-escalation and weaves in these modalities, providing easy-to-implement, practical tied and tested de-escalation skills that can be applied in any situation.

Why De-Escalation Matters

In today’s world, the ability to de-escalate potentially volatile situations is crucial for ensuring safety and well-being for staff / professionals and service users. This workshop emphasizes the importance of collaborative, compassionate resolution, equipping you with a suite of tools to navigate challenging interactions with grace and empathy.
